Top Trusted Craps Strategies

Craps players win and lose as a team. When the whole table wins it creates a common euphoria!

This is what happens when you play Odds on a Pass Line or Come Bet. You will win when you kill the House advantage to 0.3 per cent, which is as good as it gets for a casino.

To understand this strategy let’s get to basics first.

Let’s assume you’re the Shooter:

The most fundamental bet in Craps is called the Pass Line. It’s made on the first roll of your session, which is called a Come Out roll. If you roll a 7 or 11 you win.  A come out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called “craps” and you lose immediately.

Everything else – 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 – is referred to as Points. If your first roll is 10 then the dealer will put the marker on the 10 to show everyone the Point, and then the object will be to keep throwing the dice until you roll either 10 or 7. If the 10 is rolled first you win. If the 7 is rolled first, you lose. You may only make one Pass Line bet per roll.

Come Bet

A Come Bet works just like the Pass Line Bet except it’s made on any roll that’s not a Come-out roll.

Odds

The Odds is a supplemental bet you make after the Pass Line Bet, and when a point – 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 – is thrown. You can place your bet below the Pass Line. It is referred to as ‘Don’t Pass’.

The dealer can also place Odds slightly off-centre on top of your Come bet.

If a Point is thrown before 7, the Odd Bet pays.

Odds pay

2:1 on 4 and 10

3:2 on 5 and 9

6:5 on 6 and 8.

At most casinos you can put three times your Pass Line bet on a Point of 4 or 10. Four times on a 5 or 9. Five times on a 6 or 8.

Why not try 6/8 Come Again:

We’re going to use 30 dollars during this session

The sequence:

-A Pass Line bet on a Come-out roll

-Establish a point. Place a bet on the 6 and the 8 respectively.

[Roll 7 before a Point and you’re out.]
Aim to always have the Six and the 8 working for you

-Place a Come bet to insure yourself against ‘sevening out’.
Remember to only make one Come bet per roll.

-Use Come bets to have four bets working for you.

[Roll 7 (or 11) you win]

Always look to establish four numbers

Sometimes there will be situations where you’re on a new Come Out roll, You can use the Pass Line as a slight edge for one roll (as the Come wouldn’t be available to you on a Come Out roll) while you’re trying to establish your fourth point.

Once you have all four numbers up, have recouped your 30 dollars and make profit, start using that profit to add odds on your Come bets.
